AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships
Note: All proceeds from the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships benefit the AMA's
Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, which is administered by the American Motorcycle
Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
Vintage racers are some of the most dedicated, enthusiastic motorcyclists in the
world, and the American Motorcyclist Association is proud to give these competitors
the national recognition they deserve with the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships.
Here are the highlights:
- The 2009 AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships crown vintage class AMA Racing National
Champions in motocross, dirt track, hare scrambles, trials and road racing.
- A class riders earn AMA Racing National No. 1 plates.
- Designated A classes earn points toward the event’s two highest honors: AMA Track
Racing Vintage Grand National Champion and AMA Off-Road Racing Vintage Grand National
Champion.
- All class champions will be invited to the end-of-year AMA Racing banquet honoring
all AMA Racing National Champions.
- Riders 12 and older are welcome to compete in off-road and dirt-track events at
the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships. The only stipulation is you must be
14 or older to compete on a motorcycle with a displacement more than 250cc. (Youth
